Five-banded barbs have not always been considered suitable fish for beginner due to being more difficult to manage, but with LFS the five banded barbs are normally tank raised to they become easier.

Ideal Conditions:

  • Water: Slighty acidic to neutral, soft to slightly hard
  • Temperature: 72-79F (22-26C)
  • Food: small live or frozen aquatic invertebrates, such as daphnia, mosquito larvae, and blood worm. Flake foods. Green foods

  • Tank Region: Middle
