Finding the Best Location for your Aquarium
Before we do anything we need to look for a good place to set up our freshwater aquarium, the layout of the house including human traffic, windows, door and other elements will have a major effect on yor aquarium success. Carefully inspect the area where you plan to set up your aquarium to check for a few easily avoided hazards. A little good judgment and patience goes a long way.
We examine a few common physical problems that can occur when we place our aquariums in the wrong spot. Most people like to place the aquaium at a focal point of the room, but at times we are unable too. Last thing we want to do is place tha aquariuma in a place where there to much human traffic. If you put it where kids run around then theres bound to the accident where the tank a gets knocked over over worse your kids get injuried so plan out carefully. So start your aquarium in the right place from the very beginning and save yourself a bunch of migraines later on.
Things we need to considerbefore we pour the water in:
- Room temperature and what effects it has
- Other factors like Windows and doors
- Kids and high traffic areas
- Water source
- Other Considerations
- Space and Cleaning
- Electrical
Starting Out Right
Nothing well be more fustrating than having to move our aquarium after you have added the water and worse if fishes and plants have been added. Aquariums are very heavy when fully loaded and must be drained to be moved to a new location. It’s better to take a day or two and look over your opinions than to just put up the aquarium without any forethought. Start out on the right foot if you want to be successful.
